This year seven ladies I know quite well will have (or have had already) babies…. seven!
Begin panic.
I have to admit, I have been having some serious freak out moments lately. There is nothing that makes you feel old as much as having this adorable baby around that in just what will seem like a flash, will be crawling, and babbling, then walking and talking. This year, for the first time, the number of babies being born to friends surpasses the number of friends getting married. It’s official. I’m old. What really, seriously started the freaking out was finding out that my sister-in-law is one of those ladies having a baby. I’m going to be an aunt! eeeeeee! (that is excitement pared with panic with just a twist of terror-filled anxiety… can you tell?)
End panic.
Our dear friends, Katie and Dave had their first baby just six weeks ago and I finally made it out to meet the little dude. Mason is the second of the seven aforementioned babies to be born this year and I have to admit… these next five babies have a lot to live up to. With permission from the parents, I wanted to introduce him to the 30 people that will read this post world. I wish the first-time parents all the very, very best on their new adventure; you have created a beautiful little man! Congratulations, Katie and Dave!
Mason says happy weekend!
